Der dritte Teil der Lux-Serie steht unter dem Zeichen der Befreiung von Beth, Dawsons Freundin, die in den Fängen der DOD mutmaßlich leidet. Dawson tauchte am Ende des letzten Teils auf. Völlig verändert und gezeichnet durch zwei Jahre Aufenthalt im Lager des DOD. Ich liebe die Reihe "Lux Novel", seit ich die erste Seite von "Obsidian" (Band 1) gelesen habe. Denn sie hat alles, was ein gutes Buch braucht:-eine romantische, aufregende Liebesgeschichte-zwei wunderbare Protagonisten, die sich wie zwei Magnete anziehen und abstoßen und bei denen schön die Funken sprühen-eine total sympatische, bücherfanatische Heldin-einen unheimlich gut aussehenden Bad-Boy Helden (Daemon <3)-einem guten Schuss Spannung, Gefahr und einer Prise Ironie... und das alles vor einem paranormalen Hintergrund einer -mehr oder weniger neuen aber- aufregenden Spezies, den Lux (Aliens)Die Bücher sind wirklich süchtig machend, sprachlich gesehen kein Problem zu verstehen (trotz Fremdsprache) und absolut mitreißend. Allen, die weder Obsidian, noch Onyx oder Opal gelesen haben und genauso ein Fan von paranormalen Liebesgeschichten sind wie ich (und Katy :)), denen kann ich nur empfehlen, diese Bücher zu lesen.
Also ganz so schlimm, wie einige hier schreiben, finde ich den Band nicht. Gut, es kommt nicht viel neues hinzu, und die Beziehung zwischen Daimon und Katy dürfte gerne etwas weniger schnulzig sein. Daimons Arroganz gehört einfach zu ihm, ich finde seine Sprüche immer noch lustig und sie sind nicht immer ganz ernst zu nehmen.Insgesamt gute Leseunterhaltung, wenn auch keine 5 Sterne wert.
Insgesamt wartet Obsidian mit einer guten Fantasy-Idee auf! Obsidian, Onyx und Opal lesen sich wie von allein. Die Beziehung zwischen den Protagonisten steht im Mittelpunkt und wird intensiv beschrieben, manchmal auch zu intensiv. Die Konstruktionen der anderen Figuren hat mir gut gefallen. Nichts ist vorhersehbar. Gut wird böse und umgekehrt. Leider ist der EInfallsreichtum gegen Ende des 3. Teils erschöpft. Aber bis dahin: gute Unterhaltung!
I started these novels in german and ended it in english, because the Lux novels are not all translated at the moment. They were so good, that I finished them in another language and I never did this before. I think this says everything about these novels :) Amazing story, different from all others I ever read!
Diesen zweiten Teil der Lux Reihe muss man einfach lesen, nachdem der erste Teil schon so unglaublich spannend, romantisch und interessant war. Mann will einfach wissen wie es mit den Charakteren weiter geht. So fällt es schwer das Buch überhaupt aus der Hand zu legen. Wer auf Außerirdische Romantik steht, ist bei dieser Reihe genau richtig beraten.
I loved the first two and could not wait to read this one. It ist just as good as the others. Even though I must say that I was so shocked about the end! Such a mean cliffhanger! Now I want to keep reading all the time to learn how it will turn out and if the two get back together!
